The Doctor's Inn Story Description.
Some say that Niagara On The Lake in the Province of Ontario is the prettiest town in all of Canada, while others say it is the most haunted. Trevor Long has known the natural beauty of the area for almost all his life, but now he is about to experience the darker side of the town. On a hot summer's day, he is confronted by a woman in front of one of the oldest B&B's in town. A woman that nobody else seems to be able to see. She tells him that her name is Cat Stafford and that she was murdered inside the old house, currently known as The Doctor's Inn. She claims she was murdered by the owner and his wife and asks for Trevor's help avenging her death. Cat tells Trevor that she was a guest at the B&B and that she had made the mistake of telling the owner that nobody knew she was there. She says that she was held captive for months and that she was tortured relentlessly by the sick couple. Trevor explains to her that he has two problems. One, he doesn't know if she is real or not because recently he has been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic and often sees things that aren't really there and two, the man that she claims killed her is the psychiatrist that diagnosed him. A man that he sees for therapy sessions at least once a week. Desperate to get Trevor to go to the police, Cat does the only thing she can do to prove she is telling the truth. She tells him to go into the basement and look around for himself. She promises that her body is still there, along with the skeletal remains of dozens of other victims. Trevor agrees to look in the basement the first chance he gets, but not before the ghost offers him one piece of advice. "Don't get caught."
