Sneak Preview of Muskoka Monster

Officer Speers put her hands in the water and braced herself for the big body that was coming towards her. Her hands went numb immediately. She screamed, trying to work through the pain, and waited for the weight to hit her. She thought she was prepared for it, but she wasn't. The force of the collision knocked her off her feet. She grabbed a hold of the man and did not let go, even when her head went underwater. She lost her footing twice and fell pretty hard, but she refused to let go of the man. She took a deep breath when she got to the edge of the river and pulled him out of the water. She got him far enough from the edge of the river and then collapsed.

The wind was blasting down from the north even harder now. Kris was cold and absolutely exhausted. She didn't want to move, but she knew that she had to. The man was not breathing and his skin was turning blue. She knew she had to perform mouth to mouth resuscitation, or this guy was going to die.

She worked on him for over a minute, rotating between blowing into his mouth and pounding on his chest, and he was not responding. She started wondering if it was too late to save the man. She could hear sirens coming towards her. It sounded like they were a minute, or two away. Kris decided she would keep giving the man mouth to mouth until back up arrived and if he wasn't conscious she would step aside and let the paramedics take over.

"Come on!" Kris screamed out in frustration.

She slapped the man as hard as she could on the chest. He coughed and spit up some water. Kris stopped and looked down at the man. He stared at her for a moment, with a confused look on his face and then closed his eyes. Kris relaxed for a moment, trying to regulate her own breathing, when the man opened his eyes and grabbed for her gun. Kris grabbed the man's hand as he attempted to pull her service revolver from its holster. She just couldn't believe it! Here she was, putting her own ass on the line to save this guy and now he is trying to kill her.

"Let go!" Kris said, as she slapped the man across the face. "I'm trying to help you, asshole!"

"No," the man said. "Kill me, now! Please, I beg you."

"I'm not going to kill you," Kris yelled. "And you sure as hell aren't going to kill me."

"I don't want to harm you," the man said. "I just want to die, I have to die before tomorrow night."

    "Why?"

"Because there is a full moon tomorrow night."
"So what?" Kris asked. "Does that mean you are going to turn into a werewolf?"

Sneak Preview of The Stalker Tells All

I had been following her for three days when she finally led me right to her house. I was right behind her for ten minutes and she hadn't even noticed me. In my mind I had given her the name Sexy Girl, but I probably should have named her Blind Bitch, or Stupid Skank.  Women like her deserved to be stalked. I watched as she pulled her car into the private driveway of the rural property.

It was the middle of the day, so I kept driving after making a mental note of the address and the surrounding area. I didn't see any other vehicles in front of the house. It would be easier if she lived alone, but either way I was coming back when it got dark.

The house looked like it sat on around five acres of property, just on the outskirts of Uxbridge, Ontario. It appeared to be a log cabin style home, with a metal roof made of red shingles. Weird that a woman in her late twenties would be living on a property like that, especially all by herself. I figured that God must have been looking out for me.

"We're going to have some fun tonight, Sexy Girl," I said to myself. "Well, at least I am."

I called her Sexy Girl because I didn't know her real name. Don't get it wrong, though, I knew her. I knew her type. Skating through life on her good looks, not giving a damn about anybody else, thinking that being pretty is the most important thing that a person could do in life. What pissed me off the most was her I am better than you attitude.

"You aren't the only one that can do whatever you want, Sexy Girl. Tonight, I'll do whatever I want and you will beg me for mercy."

Sneak Preview of The Preacher Man

David Collins had no idea where he was, or how he had gotten there. He woke up in a dark room staring up at a ceiling that he did not recognize. His entire body ached, like he had been hit by a truck or something. Maybe he had been, for all he knew. He tried to sit up. His body would not cooperate. His heart raced as a panicked feeling shot through his body. He wondered if he might actually be paralyzed.

He tried to scream out for help, but no words would come. He closed his eyes and tried to calm down. This wasn't real, he told himself, it couldn't be. He was probably just having a bad dream, that was the only explanation that made sense. How could he be in some room and not have any idea of how he got there? In the old days when he was drinking and doing some pretty hardcore drugs it was a fairly regular occurrence, but not these days. He had been clean and sober for almost five years now and had even gone out and found a job. Sure, it was a shitty job with shitty pay, but at least it was honest work.

David opened his eyes again and waited until his vision adjusted to the dark. He looked around the room, finally able to move his head a bit. He was on a wooden floor and it was cold. It looked like he was in a work shed of some sort. He needed to see more, so he took a deep breath and used all the strength he could muster to pull himself up. It wasn't easy, but he managed to get himself propped up against the wall. He closed his eyes, feeling nauseous, he took some more deep breaths.

In a minute or two he felt better. He looked around the room again. Yes, he was definitely in a work shed of some sort. It was completely empty except for a large metal table in the middle of the room. Using the wall for support, he pulled himself to his feet and looked across the room. He was not prepared for what he saw lying on top of the table. Dumbfounded, he stared in silence for over a minute, hoping that he wasn't really seeing what he was really seeing.

A naked woman was chained to the table.
